The first medical device made by Precision Concepts was a fetal monitor for American Home Products back in the 1980’s. This assembly incorporated a wide range of capabilities that included stamping, insert molding, precise grinding, electro-polishing, welding, wire cutting and twisting and 100% final assembly testing. PCG produced over 4 million assemblies a year with zero rejections.
Since those humble beginnings, PCG has become a highly recognizable name in the medical device supplier industry. With an ever-growing list of medical companies as our customers, we provide a “soup to nuts” solution that most suppliers are unable to match. We are often invited to get involved very early in the design phase to reduce your time to market needed to get you in the field first.
We provide R&D services, prototyping, sub-components and finished device manufacturing to all of our medical customers. Precision Concepts can supply our customers with fully packaged and sterile product ready to be shipped directly to them or to a distribution center. If the time comes for a need to find a low cost solution, we can provide that as well with our facility in San Jose, Cost Rica that employs over 200 associates in a 44,000 square foot facility.
Precision Concepts has become known for our problem solving solutions to making products easier to manufacture. Our engineers can work directly with your team to make your device more cost effective without jeopardizing any quality requirements.
