Mr. Vince Marino, after a few years of working for other companies, went into business with a family member starting in 1969. In 1976 he started his own business in New York, specializing in very intricate metal stampings which required highly skilled tool and die makers to manufacture the dies.
In 1986, he and his company were given an opportunity to manufacture a medical device. The success of this program led to the opening of the Costa Rica facility in 1991 and the relocation of the New York facility to Winston Salem, North Carolina, where both facilities continue to thrive to this day. In addition Mr. Marino was encouraged by CINDE to bring their tool and die capability to Costa Rica. Several years after opening the facility in Costa Rica, there were approximately 65 tool and die makers in Costa Rica building very sophisticated tooling.
Mr. Marino has an aeronautics degree from the Academy of Aeronautics, was honorably discharged from the United States Army and had worked in the aeronautics industry, along with getting his private pilot’s license, prior to founding his company. Mr. Marino is a forward thinker and continues to expand the company’s core capabilities.
